Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking a Rise Recovery Support Specialist to provide community-based peer support and crisis response in Tucson. The role emphasizes a strong personal recovery example and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to meet treatment needs.

The position requires a High School Diploma, 1 year of personal recovery experience, a valid driver's license, and a fingerprint clearance card.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of personal recovery experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Arizona Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Must be fully vaccinated or exempt per policy.
• Experience with EHR preferred.
• Knowledge of peer support best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based supportive services to individuals in behavioral health crises.
• Collaborate with law enforcement as part of a co-response model to provide peer support and recovery-focused engagement.
• Support education and engagement, connecting patients with resources for treatment and recovery.
• Build therapeutic alliances using trauma-informed care principles.
• Conduct follow-up visits within 24–72 hours as requested by agencies.
• Co-locate at law enforcement stations to support officers and community members.
• Document encounters in the EHR accurately and timely.
