Job summary

Old-Pueblo-Community-Services in Tucson, AZ seeks a Peer Recovery Support Specialist to help clients navigate housing programs and access mainstream resources. You will support case managers, document services, and assist with day-to-day program administration.

The role is safety-sensitive and requires CPR/First Aid, a valid Arizona driver’s license, auto insurance, and completion of the PRSS Academy. Competitive benefits include health insurance, a 401(k) with employer match after one year,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Arizona Driver’s License, auto insurance, and a car required.
• Completion of the State approved PRSS Academy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct recruitment/outreach and follow-up with unsheltered individuals.
• Deliver peer recovery support services to clients.
• Utilize experiential knowledge through supportive storytelling.
• Document services in CT1 electronic health record.
• Document services in HMIS record.
• Meet billable expectations as set by OPCS.
• Complete incident reports as needed.
• Maintain client records confidentially per grants/HIPAA.
• Attend mandatory training.
• Transport clients as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
