Job summary

Westchester Medical Center is seeking a Program Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations of the residency/fellowship program. You will coordinate with the GME Office, attending physicians, and residents to ensure smooth scheduling, evaluations, and compliance with accreditation standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in healthcare administration, strong organization, and the ability to handle confidential information within an academic medical setting.

Qualifications

• Three to five years’ experience in administration, and/or residency/fellowship program management, preferably in an academic health care setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational, multitasking, prioritization skills; ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administrative and operational management of the residency/fellowship training program.
• Collaborate with GME Office, Attending Physicians, fellows/residents, and hospital administration on policy changes and rotations.
• Maintain databases and scheduling for residents, including data for evaluations, rotations, and cost reports.
• Coordinate recruitment, orientation, and program-related events and materials.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting bodies (ACGME/AOA/CODA) and hospital policies.
