Job summary

Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine is seeking a Program Coordinator in the Medicine-Pediatrics department to support the Residency Program Director and oversee residency/fellowship operations.

Responsibilities include recruitment strategy design, scheduling for faculty and residents, and maintaining essential databases (NRMP, FREIDA, ERAS, ADs). The role requires strong organizational skills and experience in healthcare administration.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in an administrative field, preferably in healthcare administration.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and database management; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements resident recruitment strategies with the Program Director.
• Develops and manages faculty, resident, and student schedules and rotations.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with ACGME/AOA requirements and annual evaluations.
• Coordinates information for NRMP, FREIDA, ERAS and other databases; tracks milestones.
• Supervises program administrative staff and assists in department budgeting.
