Westchester Medical Center Health Network seeks a Residency Coordinator to oversee daily administrative and operational management of its residency/fellowship programs. Working with the GME Office, Attending physicians, and trainees, you will help ensure smooth program operations and compliance with accrediting standards.

You will manage scheduling, orientation, evaluations, credentialing, rotations, and communications, while coordinating recruitment activities and supporting program leadership

Competenze

• Three to five years’ experience in administration and/or residency/fellowship program management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related areas required; Masters is advantageous for large programs.
• TAGME Certification highly desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask, and handle confidential information.

Mansioni

• Provides support and meets regularly with the Program Director on program management issues.
• Ensures compliance with ACGME/other accrediting agencies and hospital policies.
• Supervises and supports residents/fellows; liaises with GME Office and hospital leadership.
• Organizes trainee orientation and coordinates rotation schedules and rotations.
• Tracks licensing, moonlighting, contracts, and credentialing requirements.
• Manages exams materials, documentation, and reports required by specialty boards.
• Maintains databases, attendance records, and program cost reporting data.
• Oversees purchasing, equipment needs, and event planning for the training program.
