Job summary

Westchester Medical Center Health Network in Mount Pleasant, NY is seeking a Program Coordinator for Nephrology and Cardiology to oversee day-to-day administration of the residency/fellowship training programs in collaboration with the GME office and hospital leaders.

The role focuses on compliance with ACGME and other accrediting bodies, managing trainee orientation, scheduling, evaluations, recruitment logistics, and maintaining program records and related materials.

Qualifications

• Three to five years’ experience in administration and/or residency/fellowship program management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data management.
• Interest in medical education and collaborative team work.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and meet with the Program Director on program management activities.
• Ensure compliance with ACGME and other accrediting bodies and hospital policies.
• Supervise and support residents/fellows; liaise with GME Office and hospital administration.
• Organize trainee orientation and maintain schedules in New Innovations.
• Coordinate recruitment, rotations, and visa/process paperwork as needed.
• Maintain program records, materials, and Office systems; assist with exams and reports.
• Plan events, communicate changes, and support program publications.
