Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and families, providing courteous, timely assistance.
• Schedule procedures based on requirements and staffing needs.
• Pre-register patients by obtaining demographic information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and capture health plan details.
• Collect and record patient financial responsibility estimates.
• Communicate with physician offices and maintain registration records.
• Collect co-pays/deductibles and explain financial obligations.
• Assist patients with insurance questions and issues.
• Document consent forms and care-related notes when patients cannot sign.
