Qualifications

• Medical Terminology knowledge is a plus.
• 1+ years of customer service experience is required.
• Healthcare customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out for visits.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Assist patients with enrolling in and using MyChart.
• Enter and verify patient demographics, insurance, and financial data.
• Communicate with medical care team about patient information.
• Contact insurers regarding coverage or billing issues.
• Collect payments for copays, coinsurance, and balances.
• Assist with forms and paperwork.
• Process EPIC workqueues and inbasket messages.
• Schedule referrals and follow-ups.
• Scan documents accurately into the system.
