Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verifies and updates patient demographics and other information.
• Schedules patients according to department protocols and provider preferences.
• Completes patient check-out and coordinates scheduling; updates reports.
• Provides education and pre-appointment instructions as needed.
• Assists with questions on scheduling and billing; handles referrals and follow-ups.
• Documents information accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic).
• Identifies urgent patient issues and elevations to nursing or provider when needed.
• Adheres to departmental policies and Lean processes.
