Responsibilities

• Interprets physician referrals and conducts pediatric speech-language evaluations.
• Develops written plans of care and implements individualized treatment.
• Monitors outcomes and adjusts treatment plans; reports to physicians and teammates.
• Completes documentation, evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Ensures patient safety and adherence to infection control measures.
• May supervise non-licensed personnel and provide student supervision.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and continuing education.
