Job summary

Advocate Health Care in Illinois seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat pediatric patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive and swallowing disorders. A master's in Speech Pathology and CCC-SLP are required, along with 1 year of pediatric experience.

You will develop individualized plans, document progress, coordinate with physicians and families, and participate in care transitions. BLS certification is required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC SLP certification and state license required.
• 1 year pediatric speech therapy experience.
• BLS certification required or within 90 days.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow billing and documentation policies.

Responsibilities

• Interpret referrals and conduct pediatric speech-language evaluations.
• Develop and implement written plans of care and monitor outcomes.
• Discharge planning with home programs and family education.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries per policy.
• Assist with coverage, supervision of students, and performance improvement.
