Job summary
Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers in Dallas is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced, pediatric ASC teams. You will provide nursing care for patients in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period, assess and document recovery status, and support the anesthesia and surgical teams.
Requirements include active RN license, nursing degree, BLS, ACLS and PALS within 60 days; preferred BSN; benefits include 401k with company match and no on-call or weekend shifts; we
Qualifications
- Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 60 days of hire).
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period.
- Assess and document patient’s status upon arrival in the recovery room.
- Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered.
- Monitoring patient and informing dentist or anesthetist of observed complications.
