Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers seeks a Registered Nurse (PRN) to join a close-knit pediatric ASC care team. You will provide perioperative nursing, monitor post-anesthesia patients, and coordinate with dentists and anesthesiologists to ensure safe, quality care for children.

Requirements include an active RN license, hospital-based nursing training, and BLS; ACLS/PALS are required within 60 days of hire. No on-call or weekends mentioned; generous benefits discussed.

Qualifications

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care for patients in immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period.
• Assess and document patient status upon arrival in recovery.
• Provide nursing care to meet needs related to surgical condition and anesthesia.
• Monitor patient and relay observed complications to dentist or anesthetist.
