Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our surgical services team. This in-person role supports postoperative and post-anesthesia care for pediatric and special-needs patients under general anesthesia.

You will perform nursing care, monitor patients, document status, and collaborate with dentists and anesthetists to address complications. A current RN license, BLS, ACLS and PALS are required or within 60 days of hire; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of the nursing process and its application, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
• Current ACLS and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post‑anesthesia period.
• Assess and document patient’s status upon arrival in the recovery room.
• Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered.
• Monitor patient and inform dentist or anesthetist of observed complications.
