Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers in Austin, TX seeks a PRN Registered Nurse to join our pediatric ASC team. You will provide postoperative and recovery room nursing care, monitor patients, and collaborate with dentists and anesthesiologists.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license, graduate from an accredited nursing program, and have BLS; ACLS/PALS within 60 days. This role offers a supportive environment with a mission to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Knowledge of the nursing process and its application
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
• Current ACLS and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 60 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period
• Assess and document patient’s status upon arrival in the recovery room
• Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered
• Monitoring patient and informing dentist or anesthetist of observed complications
