Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers in Orlando, FL is hiring a Part-time Registered Nurse to join our pediatric ambulatory surgery center team. The RN will provide bedside nursing in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period, assess patients in recovery, and support care during pediatric dental procedures under general anesthesia.

The role requires current RN licensure, BLS at hire, and ACLS/PALS within two months.

Qualifications

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Current BLS certification at hire; ACLS and PALS within 60 days of hire.
• Availability for 1–2 Saturdays a month.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period.
• Assess and document patient status upon arrival in the recovery room.
• Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and anesthesia.
• Monitor patient and inform dentist or anesthetist of observed complications.
