Job summary

Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our ASC-based care teams. You will provide postoperative/post-anesthesia nursing care and monitor patients in the recovery room, ensuring safe anesthesia recovery and documentation.

The position requires an active RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, BLS, ACLS and PALS within 60 days, and a commitment to high-quality pediatric care.

Qualifications

• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of the nursing process and its application.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.
• ACLS and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care for the patient in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period.
• Assess and document patient’s status upon arrival in the recovery room.
• Provide nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical condition and type of anesthesia administered.
• Monitoring patient and informing dentist or anesthetist of observed complications.
