This full-time float pool role covers LCH, Cabarrus, University, Pineville and Union facilities, requiring 36 hours per week with pay range $38.20–$57.30 per hour. Minimum RN education completed; active RN license with multi-state/compact privileges and BLS. Typically 1 year nursing experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state compact or privilege to practice in applicable states.
• BLS certification required.
• Typically 1 year nursing experience; 2 years in service-line preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate patient care with family engagement.
• Monitors patient conditions, updates plans and coordinates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and continuous quality improvement.
• May administer meds and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation and appropriate delegation to team members.
• Floats to multiple units/facilities within the service area as needed.
• Demonstrates age-specific assessment and care for patients served.
