Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a Resource Registered Nurse for the Nursing Float Pool. The role requires floating to facilities within zones 6–8, full-time, 36 hours weekly, with a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour and RN licensure in the client states.

Responsibilities include nursing process, patient advocacy, care coordination, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Requires BLS and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) served.
• BLS certification required; telehealth licensing per state.
• 1 year clinical nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality improvement.
• Apply nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and coordinate with the team.
• Promote safety culture and accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications per protocols and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain certifications.
