Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Resource Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Resource Team. The RN will float to facilities including LCH, Cabarrus, University, Pineville, and Union, delivering high-quality patient care across environments.

The role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. BSN preferred; full-time with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges in the state(s) where the RN provides services.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience requirements per department policy and specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Applies nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Communicates effectively and delegates as appropriate.
• Pursues professional development and maintains certifications.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and supports interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation.
