Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Resource Registered Nurse for Charlotte's Pediatric Resource Team. The position requires floating to several facilities and delivering high-quality, safe patient care in a part-time role.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, maintain documentation, and participate in professional development while upholding ethical and safety standards. Licensure in the applicable state is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where providing client care; BLS.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing; 2 years in service line preferred.
• Telehealth licensing/privileges applicable per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practice.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitors patient conditions and collaborates with the care team to adjust plans.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units or facilities within the service area to meet patient care needs.
• Demonstrates safe patient handling and adherence to safety protocols.
