Job summary

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking a licensed PTA to deliver in-home pediatric physical therapy under supervision. You’ll implement therapy plans, support mobility and development, and educate families in home programs.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license (Texas).
• Current CPR certification.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of pediatric or home health PTA experience.
• Experience working with medically complex children.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on Physical Therapy interventions under the direction of a supervising therapist.
• Implement established PT treatment plans for pediatric patients.
• Help improve mobility, balance, coordination and functional independence for children.
• Assist with therapeutic exercises and development-promoting activities.
• Educate families on home exercise programs and carryover.
• Monitor and report patient progress to supervising therapist.
• Coordinate care with the clinical team.
• Document all PT services in the EMR system.
• Maintain compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
