You will maintain accurate patient data, handle phone inquiries, collect payments, and support a courteous, efficient front-desk operation in a busy clinic setting in Sioux City, IA.

Qualifications

• Required: High School graduation or GED.
• Preferred: one year work experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology desirable.
• Word processing and computer experience.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
• Checks in patients, verifies and updates information, and assists patients with ambulatory difficulties.
• Answers telephone, screens calls, takes messages, makes appointments, and provides information as needed.
• Checks patients out, collects payments, processes them as directed, and reconciles money.
• Maintains work area and lobby in neat and orderly manner.
• Performs related work as required.
