Prairie Rehabilitation, a rehabilitation company, is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator for our East Sioux Falls clinic. The role involves working with patients and therapists to ensure clear communication about insurance, scheduling, and patient concerns, while maintaining a patient-centered, compassionate environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone who enters the clinic in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Collect co-payments and co-insurance.
• Answer phones and transfer/screen calls as appropriate.
• Schedule new and existing patients and make schedule adjustments as needed.
• Verify insurance coverage.
• Prepare and type routine correspondence, form letters, and reports.
• Ensure patient privacy by following HIPAA.
• Maintain inventory of the necessary office forms and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.
