Job summary

CHI Health Clinic in Omaha is seeking a Patient Services Professional to be the welcoming voice and central административ support for clinic operations. You will manage phone calls, schedule and register patient appointments, verify demographics and insurance, and handle referrals and pre-registrations with accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School GED or equivalent and experience with computer systems, including web-based applications, upon hire
• Proficient in accurate data entry and scheduling

Responsibilities

• Schedule and register patient appointments and/or provide information for other requests
• Answers, screens, and processes a high volume of incoming calls in a professional manner
• Uses phone scripts and scheduling criteria to determine appointment type and urgency
• Update patients on referral or authorization status
• Communicate instructions for complex exams and pre-procedure preparations
• Send accurate and complete communications to physicians or other providers
