Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service or healthcare related experience.
• Ability to cover other offices if needed.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terms is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is advantageous.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and verify patient information including name, address and insurance details.
• Perform insurance verification at date of service.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and patient check-in/check-out.
• Maintain and file medical records; ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and health care team.
• Follow Lean processes and organizational policies to support care delivery.
• Support department goals and ensure high quality patient service.
