Job summary

Cincinnati Children's is seeking a part-time night-shift caregiver to support Hematology/Oncology patients. Under RN supervision, you will provide and implement planned care, assist with activities of daily living, and supervise developmentally appropriate activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent AND one of the following: Completion of medical/surgical rotation or equivalent clinical rotation from ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA accredited program, OR
• Listed on Ohio STNA registry or Ohio CNA (reciprocity within 180 days if CNA in another state), OR
• Listed on Ohio or National Emergency Medical Services Registry, OR
• 1+ years of patient care experience in the last three years
• CPR training and maintenance of certification

Responsibilities

• Plan of Care - Provide approved care of assigned patients under supervision of RN and assist with interventions.
• Communication - Report status changes and document in patient medical record; seek guidance as needed.
• Environment - Maintain safe, organized, infection-controlled areas compliant with policies.
• Administrative Support - Respond to alarms, answer calls per etiquette, assemble charts, stock supplies, assist in training new staff
