Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with one of several credential paths (ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA rotation, STNA/CNA reciprocity, EMS registry).
• CPR training required and maintenance of certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan of Care: provide approved care of assigned patients under supervision of RN.
• Supervise activities of daily living and developmentally appropriate activities.
• Assist with patient transport and, if needed, 1-on-1 observation.
• Demonstrate CARES behaviors and document patient status in medical records.
• Respond to alarms and support clerical tasks and orientation of new staff.
