Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a part-time Night shift patient care assistant in Hematology/Oncology. Primary location is Location A; you will assist with activities of daily living and support co-workers under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include care planning, communication, infection control and administrative duties, with emphasis on CARES behaviors and timely documentation in the medical record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and one of the listed clinical/registry options.
• Evidence of CPR training and ongoing certification.
• About one year of patient care experience in the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Plan of Care: provide approved care and assist with interventions under supervision.
• Communication: document and report changes in patient condition; maintain patient records.
• Environment: keep areas safe, organized, and compliant with infection control.
• Administrative Support: respond to alarms, answer phones, assemble charts and supplies.
