UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics in Camp Hill is seeking a Full-Time Patient Services Representative to support the office in Camp Hill. Weekend and evening hours are required to align with the clinic’s hours of operation.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, check-in, copay collection, scheduling follow-ups, guiding patients through the care process, and assisting with billing and insurance verification. Strong computer skills and HIPAA compliance are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years in medical, billing, fiscal, or customer service role preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Prior experience with Medipac, Epic, or other health records systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet patients, assist with check-in, collect copayments, and update information.
Schedule follow-up appointments and connect patients to services.
Help patients navigate the healthcare system and provide clear instructions.
Register patients in Biometrics and promote MyUPMC portal.
Educate patients on financial responsibilities and connect them to resources.
Verify insurance, obtain consent signatures, and follow HIPAA regulations.
Handle phone calls, scan records, and perform office duties.
