Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a welcoming Registration Clerk to greet patient families and collect essential registration and insurance information. You will register patients following department guidelines and ensure accurate flow through the revenue cycle.

You’ll verify demographics, help with insurance verification, collect co-pays, and support self-check-in via Welcome Kiosks, contributing to smooth clinic operations and positive patient experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience required.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates timely with patients, families, and staff to ensure seamless access throughout the delivery of care.
• Greets patient families and engages them to ensure a positive first contact.
• Supports clinic flow and monitors patient location and wait times.
• Engages with Interpreter services when indicated.
• Enters registration information accurately and collects co-pays.
• Facilitates self-check in through kiosks and concierge module.
• Positively identify patients and promote self-service options.
• Follows infection prevention protocols and checks alerts.
