Job summary

Children's Wisconsin is seeking a Part-time Patient Access Representative in Milwaukee, WI to warmly welcome patient families and collect registration and insurance information. You will help ensure accurate data entry, timely intake, and smooth clinic flow across multiple Milwaukee-area locations.

Responsibilities include assisting with self-check in, collecting co-pays, and using Epic while adhering to infection prevention protocols. Weekend/holiday availability is expected where needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Proficient data entry with accuracy and speed.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays.
• Knowledge of Windows and basic PC troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patient families to ensure a positive first contact.
• Register patients with demographic and insurance information per guidelines.
• Scan documents and collect co-pays per CHHS guidelines.
• Facilitate self-check in via Welcome Kiosks and concierge module.
• Coordinate with care providers to maintain clinic operations.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and respond to alerts.
