Weisman Children's Rehabilitation Hospital in Sewell, NJ is seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Receptionist to join a compassionate pediatric care team. You will answer calls, greet patients, collect copays or required payments, and document transactions in the EMR system to support efficient patient flow.

As a member of a dedicated, family-centered program, you will monitor entrances, perform basic clerical duties, and uphold facility policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Two years of experience in a clerical healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal/external customers.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Team player who can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and transfer calls; take messages.
• Greet patients and collect copays or required payments prior to treatment; document transactions in EMR.
• Monitor entrances and exits of visitors, patients and families.
• Handle various clerical functions as assigned; will be trained on HBA procedures.
• Thorough knowledge of facility policies and procedures as they relate to above duties.
