Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our Birmingham, AL team. You will evaluate, design, and deliver individualized OT services for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with developmental delays and sensory challenges.

Collaboration with educators, therapists, and families is essential as you build functional motor, self-help, and sensory processing skills through play. Strong documentation and client-centered care complete the role.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from ACOTE-accredited program.
• Active Alabama OT license or eligibility.
• NBCOT certification and CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience in pediatric/early intervention preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate & assess infants to preschoolers to establish baselines and goals.
• Design care plans to improve daily classroom engagement and self-care.
• Execute targeted, play-centered interventions for motor and sensory skills.
• Educate families and daycare staff on strategies and carryover at home.
• Maintain timely documentation including evaluations and progress notes.
• Collaborate with educators, SLPs, PTs, and families for integrated care.
