Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group in Birmingham, AL, seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our early childhood team. You will evaluate, design, and deliver individualized OT services for infants to preschoolers with developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, and motor skill needs.

Collaborating with educators, families, and SLPs, you will create play-based intervention plans, support self-care skills, document progress, and advocate for child-centered care in daycare settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from ACOTE-accredited program.
• Active Alabama OT license or eligibility.
• NBCOT and CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess developmental domains to set early intervention goals.
• Design evidence-based treatment plans to improve classroom engagement.
• Execute targeted interventions focusing on motor, sensory, and self-care skills.
• Educate daycare staff and families on sensory diets and home carryover.
• Maintain timely documentation and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with educators, SLPs, PTs, COTAs, and parents.
