MDS Staffing seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our early childhood team in Birmingham, AL. You will evaluate, design, and deliver individualized OT services for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, motor deficits, and physical disabilities.

You will empower children to build functional motor, sensory, and self-help skills through play, collaborating with educators, specialists, and families to support school

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from ACOTE-accredited program.
• Active Alabama OT license or eligible for licensure.
• NBCOT certification and CPR/BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and assess infants to preschoolers; establish goals.
• Design evidence-based care plans to improve daily classroom activities.
• Execute play-centered interventions focusing on fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills.
• Educate daycare staff and families on sensory diets and environmental adaptations.
• Maintain timely documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with educators, SLPs, PTs, and families for integrated care.
