Great Bay Staffing Group is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in Birmingham, AL. You will deliver pediatric OT services in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams to foster motor, sensory, and self-care skills.

You will conduct evaluations, develop plans, and implement intervention strategies while maintaining thorough documentation and family education.

Formación

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from ACOTE-accredited program.
• Current Alabama OT license or eligibility for licensure.
• NBCOT certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification current.
• Pediatric experience preferred (EI, early intervention, or daycare/preschool settings).
• Sensory integration training or related certifications (SI, DIR/Floortime, SOS) a plus.
• Strong organizational abilities and proficiency in clinical documentation.
• Warm, patient, and collaborative communication with families and educational teams.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct Pediatric Occupational Therapy Evaluations: perform play-based assessments of sensory processing, fine/gross motor skills, ADLs.
• Develop Individualized Treatment Plans targeting classroom participation, fine motor skills, sensory integration, independence.
• Provide Direct Occupational Therapy Interventions with play-based sessions for hand strength and motor planning.
• Implement Sensory Integration Strategies to support emotional regulation and transitions.
• Address self-care and adaptive skills like feeding, dressing, toileting and adaptive equipment training.
• Educate families and caregivers; collaborate with daycare staff to apply home and school strategies.
• Maintain Clinical Documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and IFSP/IEP reports.
• Participate in Multidisciplinary Collaboration with SLPs, PTs, COTAs, educators, and families.
