6 Degrees Search is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our Birmingham, AL early childhood team. You will evaluate infants to preschoolers, design individualized OT plans, and deliver play-based interventions to support motor, sensory, and self-help skills.

You will collaborate with families, daycare staff, SLPs, PTs, and COTAs to ensure integrated, child-centered care and thorough documentation of progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from ACOTE-accredited program.
• Active Alabama OT license or eligibility.
• NBCOT certification and CPR/BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and assess infants to preschoolers to identify needs and goals.
• Design evidence-based OT plans to improve fine motor, self-help, and sensory skills.
• Deliver play-based, developmentally appropriate interventions in collaboration with families and educators.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries regularly.
• Collaborate with SLPs, PTs, COTAs, and parents to ensure integrated care.
