KidsCare Home Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide pediatric home health OT services across PRN, part-time and full-time roles.

You will work under the supervision of an OT, guide families in therapeutic activities, and help children achieve functional goals in their own homes, promoting safety and independence.

Qualifikationen

• Associates Degree as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred.
• Current state-issued professional license.
• Valid state driver's license.
• CPR certified.

Aufgaben

• Provide clinical occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OT for pediatric patients in home health.
• Direct the patient and caregiver in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and/or enhance performance.
• Provide clinical treatment to patients as directed by the OT supervisor.
• Maintain adequate caseload with appropriate productivity.
• Coordinate patient care with supervisor, office staff, and other disciplines.
• Maintain appropriate communication with OT supervisor regarding patient progress, problems, home programs, and other issues.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and complete it in a timely manner.
• Proactively communicate with administrative staff for assistance.
• Responsible for the maintenance of supplies and equipment.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve company and departmental goals.
• Actively participate in professional organization and activities.
• Serve as backup service provider for other caseloads as needed.
• Comply with all company policies, practices, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
