Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide pediatric home health services. You will assess, treat, and educate children in their own homes, coordinating care with families and the care team.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Current state licensure.
• CPR certified.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine, evaluate, and administer remedial treatments for pediatric patients.
• Provide clinical treatment including screenings, evaluations, direct treatment, and caregiver training.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with patient and family regarding progress and home programs.
• Refer patients to appropriate services and resources as needed.
• Consult with physician on patient progress and maintain records.
• Maintain supplies and equipment.
• Present at internal and external education activities.
• Participate in QAPI and continuing education; expand service scope.
• Maintain adequate caseload and productivity.
• Collaborate with team and mentor new hires and students.
