Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and deliver pediatric therapy in the home setting, supporting children with special needs. You will organize treatment, instruct caregivers, and coordinate with office staff to ensure progress toward goals while maintaining compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Current state licensure.
• Valid state driver license.
• CPR certified.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine, evaluate, and administer remedial treatments for pediatric patients.
• Provide clinical treatment including screenings, evaluations, direct treatment, and family/caregiver training and counseling.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with the pediatric patient and family regarding progress and home programs.
• Refer patients and family members to appropriate services.
• Consult with physician on patient progress and maintain records.
• Maintain supplies and equipment.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and professional activities.
• Maintain adequate caseload with appropriate productivity.
• Collaborate with others and mentor students/new hires.
