Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to serve pediatric patients in home health settings. The PTA will provide therapy under supervision, guiding patients and caregivers to improve function.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and write in simple correspondence; effective public speaking in small groups.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide medically prescribed occupational therapy services under OT supervision in pediatric home health.
• Maintain adequate caseload with appropriate productivity.
• Coordinate patient care with supervisor, office staff, and other disciplines.
• Communicate patient progress and home programs with OT supervisor.
• Maintain documentation in a timely manner and assist with equipment and supply maintenance.
• Participate in team efforts to achieve company goals and professional activities.
