Job summary

NC Pediatric Dentistry is seeking an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator to join our pediatric dentistry team. The role focuses on patient care coordination, treatment planning support, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.

The ideal candidate has orthodontic assistant experience, strong knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and proficiency with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic. A compassionate, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous orthodontic assistant experience preferred.
• Familiar with dental terminology and pediatric orthodontics.
• Strong HIPAA and patient confidentiality knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during procedures and appliance placement.
• Prepare and sterilize treatment area and instruments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene with braces.
• Take dental images as required for diagnosis.
• Maintain patient records in Dentrix/Eaglesoft.
• Support clinic operations and ensure smooth patient experiences.
