NC Pediatric Dentistry seeks an experienced Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Advance, NC. The role focuses on assisting orthodontists, maintaining a sterile treatment area, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and proficiency with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic. A patient-centered approach and HIPAA confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant or in a similar dental clinic role.
• Familiarity with orthodontics and pediatric dentistry terminology and procedures.
• Strong infection control practices and HIPAA compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during procedures, including braces placement and adjustments.
• Prepare and maintain the treatment area; ensure sterile instruments and materials.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and care for orthodontic appliances.
• Take and ensure high-quality dental images for diagnosis.
• Maintain patient records using Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic.
