Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows nurses to apply their passion for pediatric surgery in a dynamic OR setting.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of OR (Peds) experience, hold an Ohio RN license, and possess BLS and ACLS certifications. PALS and CNOR are preferred. Self-scheduling and weekly pay are offered under a W2 arrangement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN license required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Background screening and onboarding requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room and performs assessments and interventions during surgery.
• Assists the physician in the plan of care and ensures continuity between the patient care unit and the OR.
• Collaborates with the surgical team to maintain patient safety and optimize outcomes.
