Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows nurses to apply their passion for nursing and working in the operating room.

Candidates with OR experience are strongly encouraged to apply. The role requires OR nursing experience with pediatric patients, BSN or in progress, and active Ohio RN license along with BLS/ACLS; PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have Ohio RN license and current BLS/ACLS; PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of OR (Peds) nursing experience
• BSN degree required or in progress
• CNOR highly preferred
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the OR, performing assessments and interventions.
• Assists surgeons and physicians to implement the plan of care during surgery.
• Ensures patient safety and smooth handoffs between OR and PACU/units
