Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity offers flexible scheduling and W2 employment with weekly pay.

Candidates should have 2+ years of OR (Peds) experience, an Ohio RN license, and a BSN (or in progress). BLS and ACLS are required; PALS preferred. CNOR is highly preferred and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Must have American Heart Association Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• CNOR highly preferred
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
