Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced RN for the OR in a pediatric acute care setting in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN role offers self-scheduling flexibility and W2 employment status.

Candidates should bring 2+ years of OR (Peds) RN experience, Ohio RN license, BSN or in progress, plus BLS/ACLS; PALS and CNOR are a plus. The position emphasizes patient safety and collaboration with the surgical team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• ACLS required; BLS required; PALS preferred; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• The OR RN provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room and performs assessments.
• Assists the physician in the plan of care and ensures continuity between units and the OR.
• Maintains patient safety and supports perioperative processes during surgery.
