Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for OR for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows nurses to apply for their passion in nursing and being in the OR.

Candidates with OR experience are strongly encouraged to apply. The role requires at least 2 years of OR (Peds) experience, Ohio RN license, BSN in progress, and BLS/ACLS certifications (PALS preferred).

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience in OR (Peds) required.
• Ohio RN License is required; BSN in progress acceptable.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking essential.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred; background in pediatric acute care a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room.
• Perform assessments and interventions to ensure patient safety during surgery.
• Assist physicians and ensure continuity of care between units and OR.
