Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows nurses to apply their passion for pediatric surgery and patient safety in a high-acuity environment.

Candidates should have 2+ years of OR (Peds) experience, Ohio RN license, BSN (or in progress), BLS, ACLS, and CNOR preferred. Flexible scheduling, weekly pay, W2 employment, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year OR (Peds) RN experience.
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Current BLS required; ACLS required; PALS preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Pass background screening and onboarding requirements.
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the OR and assist the physician.
• Perform assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Ensure continuity of care between patient care unit and the OR.
